The KransWaard boats prove their classical hallmark in the ambience on board and the overwhelming feeling that takes possession of you as you sail on these ships.

Using examples of boats from the beginning of the 20th century as their inspiration, KransWaard has invented their own models.

These new renditions of old classics combine the use of warm mahogany, gorgeous teak and other traditional woods with excellent craftsmanship and the latest technological innovations.

Nowadays we have at our disposal strong and enduring materials like epoxy and kevlar,
which can be incorporated into the ship bodies.

Each KransWaard complies with the
highest CE standards,
while stability and floating potential
have been classified as high above the average. These ships are moreover designed to be wonderfully low-maintenance.

On a KransWaard ship, the old chain steering
has made way for a feather-light hydraulic system.
The powerful diesel engines are perfectly safe, clean and exceptionally dependable.
The electrical installation is equipped with a selection of connecting options.

Each KransWaard is designed to the special specifications of the client.
Every wish can be fulfilled from toilet design to satellite navigation and every detail reflects the supreme craftsmanship of a KransWaard.

A KransWaard represents the acme of a symbiosis between modern technology, classical tradition and specially selected woods such as teak, mahogany and oak.

This coalescence of modernity and tradition results in the ideal ship, offering a degree of sailing pleasure that no antique, ór modern ship can match.
Truely a "modern classic avant la lettre".
